Handa Developers Group is seeking an experienced and visionary Construction Director to oversee residential real estate development and construction projects. In this leadership role, you'll manage large-scale residential developments from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to timelines, and budgetary control. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of residential construction projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine designs and resolve issues.
• Monitor project performance, implement improvements, and proactively manage risks.
• Oversee vendor and subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance.
• Provide leadership and professional development opportunities to construction teams.
• Leverage technology and tools to streamline construction processes and reporting.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership, stakeholders, and clients.

Qualifications

• Active CSLB Class B License highly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• 10+ years of experience in new single-family home development and construction.
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple large-scale residential projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Proficiency with construction management software and technology tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to team collaboration.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required by project needs.

Work Location

Projects primarily located between Palo Alto and Hillsborough (San Mateo County), CA.
