Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js to join our esteemed team at a staff level. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications across the entire development stack. Your primary focus will be on the development and support of server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

We'd love to chat if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Node.js and Typescript
• Strong experience with GraphQL or Apollo Server
• Experience with AWS services (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Kinesis)
• Experience with containerized build and deployment to Kubernetes
• Strong experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab preferred)
• Experience with system design and architecture; contribute to designing new and improving existing systems
• A focus on quality; experience with end-to-end testing and automated testing frameworks
• Collaboration and Leadership: work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and lead by example in coding and process best practices
• Experience with API management software, ideally Kong

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range $167,300—$200,800 USD
