Key Responsibilities

- Support daily branch operations, including staff scheduling, transaction approvals, file maintenance, overdraft reports, callbacks, teller duties, and new account support.
- Provide leadership, training, and operational guidance to branch staff to promote efficient service, policy compliance, and a positive customer experience.
- Review branch documentation, new account openings, certification packages, and operational procedures to ensure compliance with bank policies and state and federal regulations.
- Maintain branch security standards by training staff on security protocols and managing controls related to keys, combinations, signals, and cash limits.
- Resolve escalated client service issues, account disputes, and operational exceptions within established authority limits.
- Support branch growth and community engagement, including completion of annual compensated CRA volunteer hours.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Oversee branch operations, documentation review, transaction approvals, compliance processes, and operational reporting.
- Lead, coach, and support branch staff to maintain strong service levels and efficient daily operations.
- Assist with teller activities, new account openings, client callbacks, and escalated customer service matters.
- Partner with branch leadership to support branch growth, security, and regulatory compliance.

- 5 to 8 years of banking experience required.
- 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience required.
- 2 to 5 years of banking operations experience required.
- Strong knowledge of branch banking operations, products, services, and customer service practices.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal banking regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software applications.
- Ability to review and approve or decline operational exceptions within assigned authority limits.
- Strong communication, leadership, training, and staff support skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, security standards, and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

- Notary Public certification preferred.
- Willingness to obtain Notary Public certification if not currently certified.
- Prior experience supporting branch audits, certification packages, security controls, or regulatory documentation.
- Experience participating in Community Reinvestment Act activities or other community banking initiatives.
