Closing Manager

Global Equity Finance, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Mortgage Loan Closing Manager to join our busy team. The ideal candidate for this role possesses extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and its closing processes, in addition to strong management skills. A successful Closing Manager will be able to acclimate to our fast-paced environment and contribute a great deal of knowledge and value to this department.

Closing Duties

• Manage and perform loan salability duties for FHA, VA and Conventional mortgages
• Simultaneously track document and loan pipelines
• Create disclosure statements
• Communicate with title companies, lenders, and banks
• Prepare closing packages
• Request necessary documents for loan files
• Order notary for documents
• Reconciliation of earnings

Managerial Duties

• Oversee all department pipelines to ensure quality production and troubleshoot errors
• Manage training of new and existing employees
• Participate in and supervise special projects as assigned by management
• Perform personnel actions including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment
• Monitor and assess team performance and trends in closing
• Analyze, suggest, develop and implement procedural changes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Manage warehouse lines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 4-6+ years of Residential Mortgage Loan Closing and Correspondent Lending experience
• 3-5+ years of Managerial experience
• High attention to detail
• Superb multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work and manage a team in a high-stress environment
• Escrow knowledge preferred
