Software Engineer

As a software engineer, you will be helping to build all aspects of our machine learning stack, from our infrastructure code, our training framework, our models, and most importantly our deployment and customer integration efforts. Primarily, you will be taking Syntiant’s ML models and inference runtime that have been built by our Core ML and Modeling teams, and helping our customers solve their business problems. Not only will this involve learning our ML models and framework, but it will require working with and on embedded systems as this is primarily where our customers deploy. Ultimately, you will get the opportunity to apply machine learning in real world applications and see your work driving the latest IoT devices. 

Though it would be ideal to have expertise in computer vision (or related field such as computer graphics, machine learning, computational math, etc), we are looking for those who have worked on developing large scale deployable software projects, and have a strong C++ background.

• 5+ years of industrial work experience
• Strong C++ programming experience
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics or related field which is heavily computational math-based.
• Experience developing large scale deployable software products
• Experience working in large, complex codebases
• Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT, etc.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as BitBucket, Jira, etc.
