About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations and support day-to-day administrative functions. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage both financial reporting and office management responsibilities. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial systems while ensuring smooth internal operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee full-cycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support company-wide planning
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management, reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations
• Implement and improve internal controls, workflows, and accounting procedures
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams on financial matters
• Review and manage vendor accounts, purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules
• Support payroll-related reporting and assist HR with employee record documentation
• Perform office manager duties including facilities coordination, vendor communication, supply management, and organizing company files
• Prepare cost analyses, special reports, and financial insights for leadership
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Proven experience in an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar leadership role
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Experience balancing accounting tasks with administrative and office management duties
• On-site availability at our Los Angeles facility
