Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Location: Quincy, CA (with occasional travel to Greenville, CA) – Northern California healthcare jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care hospital, rehabilitation center, and outpatient clinic
• Employment Type: Locum tenens Occupational Therapist (travel contract)
• Start Date: August 1, 2025
• End Date: October 31, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• On-Call: No call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130 - $2190 per week

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current California Occupational Therapist License (required for California OT jobs)
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification (AHA approved)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient occupational therapy
• Ability to travel between Quincy and Greenville healthcare facilities as needed

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Review physician referrals and patient records to determine appropriate occupational therapy evaluation procedures
• Assess patients’ functional abilities and disabilities, considering medical history and prognosis
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to maximize patient independence and quality of life
• Utilize professional judgment, discretion, and skill in patient management and rehabilitation program development
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and families
