Description

Job Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting functions with a primary focus on revenue recognition, the creation of billing accounts, and resolving billing issues or disputes. This role will assist in the preparation of GL reconciliations and asset reconciliation. This role will support other accounting functions as assigned.

Billing/Revenue (75%)

• Create and maintain billing accounts in ERP by verifying appropriate documentation is provided
• Communicate with other departments to assist in resolving billing tickets
• Manage Billing Ticketing system for billing issues on billing accounts to ensure we bill the appropriate amounts to our customers

  • Contract Disputes
  • Review Disputed Invoices
  • Fixed Assets or Serial number Issues
• Prepare revenue recognition entries for month end
• Assist the warehouse team w/ serial number issues and find resolutions
• Assist Operations in review of go-live dates

GL/Other (25%)

• Prepares monthly GL Reconciliations
• Supports the month end close process
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Provide daily accounting support and review
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Works on special projects as assigned
• Supports the Senior Controller and Assistant Controller on various accounting functions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Organized with attention to detail, ability to multitask, and enjoys challenges, proactive approach to issues and has excellent communication skills
• Ability to understand processes and product lifecycle outside of their own job/responsibilities
• Ability to innovate or think out of the box to find solutions
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS is a plus
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel
• Accounting or Finance Degree preferred
• 2+ years of Revenue Recognition experience preferred
• 2+ years Accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus

Salary Description

$50,000 - $75,000 range dependent on experience
