Property Accountant I

The Property Accountant I is directly responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager and Property Accountants with individual portfolio financial records. Additional responsibilities to include posting transactions and processing accounts payable invoices. This entry-level position is designed to develop accounting skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or actively working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field (Highly Preferred)


• Previous Bookkeeping or accounting experience a plus


• The ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced environment


• Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions


• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

Compensation and Benefits

• $27-$30/hour DOE
