Product Development Coordinator

A growing personal care manufacturing company in Ontario, CA is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support new product development, project coordination, and cross-functional communication from concept through launch. This is a direct hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping projects organized, timelines on track, and teams aligned in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Product Development Coordinator will serve as a central point of contact for project updates, documentation, approvals, samples, testing, and launch readiness. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with R&D, Operations, Marketing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams while supporting creative and innovative product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Track project status, milestones, deadlines, and variances to support timely execution of product development initiatives.
- Coordinate communication across cross-functional teams to ensure priorities, updates, and deliverables remain aligned.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, workflows, approvals, and updates within Monday.com or related project management tools.
- Support new product development activities including samples, testing, approvals, timelines, commercialization steps, and launch readiness.
- Compile stakeholder feedback, identify project risks or delays, and escalate issues to appropriate team members.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Marketing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to help move products from concept through launch.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Ontario, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Coordinate product development projects from concept through launch.
- Track project timelines, milestones, documentation, approvals, and deliverables.
- Support cross-functional communication between R&D, Operations, Marketing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Monitor project workflows and help keep multiple initiatives on schedule.

- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, product development coordination, or a related manufacturing support role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, personal care, consumer goods, or related environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline-driven timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- High attention to detail when tracking project data, approvals, documentation, and stakeholder feedback.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, follow up on action items, and support timely resolution.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting new product development, product launches, commercialization projects, or R&D initiatives.
- Experience using Monday.com or another project management platform.
- Background in personal care, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, consumer packaged goods, or regulated manufacturing.
