Who we’re looking for:

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (ENGINEER I)

Handy doesn’t even begin to describe you. We’re looking for the ultimate Jack (or Jill)-of-All-Trades. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing all hotel equipment from kitchen, laundry and plumbing to HVAC, electrical and guest rooms—all with minimum downtime. Easy, right?

What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

1. Making repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed.
2. Respond to guest requests for light bulb and battery replacement, repairs and plumbing needs.
3. Conducting scheduled inspections, as well as checking and repairing equipment malfunctions.
4. Maintaining the interior and exterior of hotel by performing minor and routine wall repair, painting, plumbing, equipment repair and other related maintenance activities using hand tools and power tools.
5. Securing the building as needed including monitoring, activating and resetting automatic security systems and repairing broken locks.

Your experience and qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of one year of experience in facilities work, preferably in a hotel or commercial office environment.
3. Systems Maintenance Administrator (S.M.A) Certificate, Certified Engineering Operations Executive (C.E.O.E.) or equivalent preferred.
4. Experience with safely operating hand tools and power tools.
5. Proficient at fulfilling guest and manager requests in a thorough and timely manner.
6. Ability to complete tasks under limited supervision.

Pay: $32.89 per hour
