Overview

At DTEN, we build video conferencing devices that make meeting rooms work beautifully — displays, cameras, audio systems, and touch-enabled collaboration devices used by teams worldwide.

We're looking for a Hardware Product Manager to take ownership of our hardware product portfolio. This role sits at the center of product development — working with engineering to define what gets built, and with sales, customers, and partners to make sure it solves real problems in the real world.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware products roadmap and lifecycle, from concept through launch and beyond
• Define product requirements and write PRDs that engineering teams can build against
• Engage directly with customers, channel partners, and sales teams to understand real-world use cases and identify opportunities for the next product
• Partner with engineering to evaluate technical approaches and make trade-off decisions across cost, performance, and schedule
• Drive cross-functional coordination across engineering, supply chain, and project management to keep programs on track
• Distill product value propositions and selling points for sales and marketing teams

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
• Hands-on experience bringing consumer electronics products from concept to market
• Strong engineering fundamentals — you think from first principles, not from templates. You can dive into a schematic, challenge an architecture decision, and have a real technical conversation with engineers
• Proven ability to work side-by-side with engineers to break down and solve complex technical problems
• Ability to identify what users actually need — cut through surface requests, find the real problem, and translate it into product design decisions
• A self-starter who takes ownership and drives outcomes with minimal oversight
• Actively uses AI tools in daily workflows to accelerate research, analysis, and decision-making
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), written and spoken

Nice To Have

• Experience with audio, video, or acoustics products
• Familiarity with meeting room solutions or the UC&C industry
• Understanding of platform certification requirements (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms)
• Experience working with teams across the US and China
• Exposure to embedded systems or Android-based device platforms
