Program and Social Wellness Instructor

As a Program and Social Wellness Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering hands-on support and training to individuals in both program and work settings. Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing instruction and support to individuals with disabilities, focusing on vocational growth and training objectives tailored to each participant’s abilities and development.
• Facilitate social wellness activities and adapt to the needs of diverse groups of individuals served.
• Monitor and execute contract requirements to ensure quality workmanship and satisfaction of customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily cash records, inventory, and cash receipts deposits, in accordance with internal procedures.
• Create and follow lesson plans and curriculum to support program goals.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (driving is required for this position).
• Ability to pass a LiveScan background check.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to serve as a positive role model for adults with disabilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience creating and following lesson plans or curriculum is preferred.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
