Job Description

Visa Finance is seeking a Director to lead AI-enabled process improvement and operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on strategy execution, governance, coordination, and change management. This role will drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, cycle time, and scalability across core Finance processes—particularly FP&A—by combining process design, AI‑enabled automation, analytics, and disciplined program execution. The Director will be accountable for translating strategy into action by leading complex initiatives end‑to‑end, redesigning Finance processes, and ensuring solutions are effectively implemented, adopted, and sustained across Finance teams.

The Director will lead Finance AI‑enabled process transformation—establishing clear governance and decision rights, managing milestones and dependencies, coordinating across Finance, Technology, and Data teams, and proactively addressing risks and trade‑offs. They will identify opportunities for improvement, redesign end‑to‑end workflows, and embed standardization, controls, and continuous improvement practices. While familiarity with AI and automation is important, the role equally prioritizes program leadership, stakeholder alignment, and change management to ensure new ways of working are successfully scaled across Finance.

Lead business requirements collection from key Finance and business stakeholders to inform solutions.
  • Project Management: Drive disciplined execution of AI- enabled process improvement initiatives using Agile delivery models, managing scope, dependencies, risks, and timelines across multiple workstreams with a strong focus on outcomes. Lead Finance AI‑enabled transformation efforts by establishing governance, decision rights, integrated plans, and execution cadence. Coordinate across Finance, Technology, and Data teams to manage interdependencies, sequence initiatives, resolve trade‑offs, and ensure consistent delivery across a complex portfolio of initiatives.
  • AI Use Case Execution: Support the implementation of AI enabled solutions (e.g., automation, analytics, agent assisted workflows), coordinating with technical teams to ensure solutions align to business intent and are delivered effectively.
  • Metrics, Adoption, Value Realization: Define and track process performance and value metrics, leading change management and adoption to ensure improvements are realized, measured, and sustained over time.
  • Stakeholder Alignment, Change Management & Adoption: Lead change management and cross‑functional coordination to ensure Finance teams understand, trust, and adopt new processes and tools, embedding new ways of working through clear communication, training, and reinforcement.
