Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required in ICU; 4 years preferred License: California RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 3 years of experience required in ICU; 4 years preferred - BLS (AHA) certification - ACLS certification - NIHSS certification Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate must possess a California RN License and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU setting, with 4 years preferred. Charge experience is preferred. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Ability to manage a high patient acuity in a fast-paced environment is essential. Skills in arterial line management, ventilator management, care of ventilated patients, and central line management are crucial for this role. The RN will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing complex care for critical patients. Weekend rotation and potential floating to other units may be required. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Candidates should have experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Please ensure you have the required certifications and experience at the time of application.
