About the Role – Labor & Delivery RN

Join a dynamic Labor & Delivery team providing high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns. This role is ideal for experienced L&D nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident managing labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal status using advanced fetal monitoring
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management (including epidurals)
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and rapid changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on labor process, delivery, and postpartum care
• Document all care accurately in Epic EMR

✅ Requirements

• Active RN License (CA or compact eligible)
• Labor & Delivery experience required (acute care)
• Epic charting experience – REQUIRED ⚠️
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – Required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring – Required within 1 year
• BSN – Preferred
