• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (08:00 – 16:30)

Pediatric Dietitian Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pediatric dietitian or clinical nutritionist experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• National Registered Dietitian Certification (CDR) required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited university
• Must hold at least two (2) advanced practice specialty certifications or a graduate degree plus one (1) advanced practice certification
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems
• Clinical skills in calorie counts, enteral nutrition (tube feedings), food-drug interactions, intake/output, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), treatment planning, and nutrition assessments for all pediatric age groups
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two supervisor-level references required
• Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Orange, CA

Pediatric Dietitian Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate, family-centered nutrition care to pediatric patients in a hospital environment
• Serve as a clinical nutrition resource for medical, nursing, ancillary staff, and community healthcare providers
• Apply advanced clinical practice and knowledge of pediatric nutrition, the nutrition care process, and medical nutrition therapy to provide evidence-based care
• Collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in professional activities, including lectures, publications, research, text review, or active involvement in professional organizations
