The Branch Sales Engineer partners with our Sales Teams in a pre-sales technical role, providing technical consultancy and support to augment sales efforts. This includes giving demonstrations and technical presentations to customers, partners, and prospects, showcasing AV product solutions, explaining features and benefits, and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Providing technical expertise for the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions.
• Researching and analyzing available hardware and software options.
• Interacting directly with customers throughout the sales cycle, communicating with staff at all levels, from project managers to executives.
• Designing audiovisual systems that integrate hardware and software components to meet customer needs.
• Assisting in developing formal sales plans and proposals.

Requirements to Assure Success:

• Experience in service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems.
• Knowledge of control systems programming, CAD software, and drawings.
• Strong communication, leadership, customer relation skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
• Expertise in videoconferencing products and unified communications technologies.
• Certifications like CTS and CTS-D are a plus, but relevant experience and other industry certifications (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure) are also valuable.
