Maintenance & Construction Supervisor
Coastline Equity is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Construction Supervisor to oversee and perform maintenance and renovation work across our residential property portfolio. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance operations, completing repairs, managing unit turns, and ensuring our properties remain safe, functional, and move-in ready.
This is an on-site position based in our Gardena office and requires daily office attendance, as well as travel to assigned properties. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent technical skills in residential maintenance and construction, and is comfortable using property management software such as AppFolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support maintenance technicians and vendors
Perform hands-on maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and painting
Complete and oversee unit turns and renovation projects
Manage and prioritize work orders and maintenance requests
Conduct property inspections and identify repair needs
Coordinate with vendors and contractors
Use AppFolio to document work orders, updates, and completion notes
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
Maintain maintenance records, reports, and inventory

Requirements
Ability to perform physical job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- 5+ years of residential maintenance or construction experience
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Strong hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs
- Experience with unit turns and property renovations
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and property management software
- Experience using AppFolio or similar software preferred
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to properties throughout Southern California
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Gardena, CA five days per week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay Transparency Statement
The pay range for this position is $77,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and business needs.
