Travel Radiology Mammography Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and compliance with regulatory standards to ensure optimal imaging results and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using specialized imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, FDA, and other regulatory standards .
- Maintain quality control measures and radiation safety protocols .
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns .
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals .
- Maintain and update patient records and imaging reports .
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field .
- Certification: ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification required .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography.
- Skills: Strong technical, interpersonal, and patient care skills .
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
