Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and support mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role combines operational leadership with client-facing responsibilities, ensuring successful execution of all aspects of assigned work while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and profitability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day project operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and scope control
  • Take ownership of field activities and ensure efficient execution of all mechanical trade work
  • Collaborate across internal departments—Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, Construction, and Service—to facilitate smooth project delivery
  • Lead preconstruction efforts such as estimates, design reviews, proposal development, and client presentations
  • Manage project finances: develop budgets, monitor costs, and ensure alignment with contract terms and profitability targets
  • Prepare critical documentation (e.g., proposals, change orders, contracts, strategic memos) to support legal and business processes
  • Keep projects on track by closely managing timelines and proactively resolving issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and industry professionals to promote a positive brand image and support future business development

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred but not mandatory
  • Advanced education (MBA or Master’s degree) and/or a current Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
