Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner for Comprehensive Stroke Program

Coordinates multidisciplinary care based on evidence based practice. Responsible for providing stroke education, delivery and oversight of patient care, including post discharge follow up. Works in collaboration with Stroke Program key stakeholders to meet stroke program certification requirements, including review of data and performance improvement projects. Incorporates the patient experience in all aspects of patient care. This position is a full time exempt. Qualifications CA RN/NP/furnishing License or CA Physician Assistant License BLS ACLS NPI NIHSS (within 3 months of hire/transfer) ASLS (within 3 months of hire/transfer) ENLS (within 6 months of hire/transfer). SCRN/CNRN/NVRN preferred The stroke team is willing to consider any candidate with strong ICU, neuro, or ED experience. LI-ML2 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
