Position: Staff Accountant

Reports to: Senior Accountant

Location: Remote

Salary Target: $ 80-90k

Other Compensation: 10% annual bonus incentive

With over $6 billion+ of yearly sales under management, we’ve launched and accelerated the retail journey for brands such as Beats by Dre, Vital Proteins, Harrys, Mr Beast, and numerous other high profile emerging brands. Marketplaces that we specialize in include Walmart, Target, Costco, Best Buy, Amazon, and other online marketplaces.

About the position:

The Staff Account is responsible for billing, maintaining general ledger accounts, and managing accounting receivable companies across PLTFRM.

Responsibilities:

• Recording weekly treasury transactions as assigned
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Performing monthly billing procedures
• Review transactions for accuracy
• Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Identify past-due accounts receivable and contact delinquent customers
• Record customer payments and transactions accurately
• Assist with gathering support for the annual audit
• Assist with payroll management (i.e. payroll processing, setting up new employees and state withholding accounts).
• Inbox management

Required Skills/Experience:

• A degree in Accounting
• At least 1-2 years of overall accounting experience
• At least 1 year of service business operational accounting experience
• Ability to collaborate with a team
• Comfortable in a high-growth environment
• Strong understanding of services businesses
• A passion for leveraging systems and driving process improvements
• Experience with full close-cycle accounting
• Experience in QBO and related software tools
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

Home/Office environment; utilization of standard work equipment.

Travel:

Minimal travel.
