Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing) - 2nd Shift
Work schedule: 5am - 1:30pm + OT as needed. Major Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & repair various pieces of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic equipment
- Ensure that safety-related work orders are given top priority to ensure the safety of all CPP team members
- Perform scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance and emergency repairs
- Work on fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends
- Able to lift 10-40 lbs
- 3 years of previous experience in a Technical Maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment required for this position
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.
- Previous experience working with PLC’s and VFD’s strongly preferred,
- Mig and Stick welding experience
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical testing equipments, skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools.
- Strong communication skills required
