Job Details
Job Details: We are on the hunt for a seasoned Permanent Asset Manager (Multifamily) to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to play a pivotal role in managing our multifamily assets. As an integral part of our Accounting and Finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our multifamily portfolio, including capital improvements and lease administration. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and manage the performance of a portfolio of multifamily assets.2. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to maximize asset performance.
3. Manage and oversee capital improvement projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
4. Coordinate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and lease administration.
5. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and prepare comprehensive reports on asset performance.
6. Work closely with the finance team to create and manage budgets, analyze financial statements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
7. Negotiate leases and contracts with tenants and service providers.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, tenants, and other stakeholders.
9. Stay abreast of market trends and industry best practices to optimize asset performance and value. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in the multifamily sector.
3. Proven experience in capital improvements and lease administration.
4. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial statements and manage budgets.
5. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully negotiating leases and contracts.
6. Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage and oversee capital improvement projects.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive portfolio reviews and prepare detailed reports on asset performance.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry best practices in asset management.
