Accounts Receivable Clerk (DOE $28-$32)

Position Summary
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk , you will assist in ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments from customers and insurance companies. This role reports directly to the Office Administrator and Chief Operating Officer (COO) . While training will be provided , previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus .
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and enter daily bank deposits
- Generate and distribute accounts receivable reports
- Attend weekly team meetings to review outstanding balances
- Monitor customer accounts for late payments, irregularities, and missed invoices
- Follow up on outstanding balances with phone calls and emails
- Assist with lien and small claims documentation and tracking
- Help prepare cash flow forecasts and projections
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using accounting or customer management software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
