Student Support, Community Standards, & Title IX Coordinator

SCOPE OF WORK:

Coordinates student conduct processes, Title IX compliance, and non-clinical
student support services through the Lynx CARE Center framework. Ensures timely response to student
concerns, consistent case management, and compliance with institutional policies and applicable
regulations. Responsibilities include Title IX intake, case management, investigation, adjudication, and
service in other system-wide Title IX roles, as assigned. This position does not serve as the final decisionmaker in student conduct matters and does not provide clinical counseling services. The position reports to the VP of Student Success at NHTI, Concord’s Community College.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinate student conduct and Title IX processes in Maxient from report through resolution, including intake, documentation, communication, case tracking, and record maintenance.
  • Conduct preliminary fact-finding and prepare case summaries for administrative review.
  • Facilitate conduct meetings and hearings in coordination with designated administrators.
  • Refer cases requiring disciplinary determination to the Vice President of Student Success or designee.
  • Support coordination of the Lynx CARE Center and student early intervention processes.
  • Receive and assess reports of students of concern and determine appropriate referrals and interventions.
  • Provide non-clinical case management, including monitoring, follow-up, and coordination of services.
  • Connect students with campus and community resources, including academic, counseling, and basic needs supports.
  • Assist with development and implementation of outreach, prevention, and student support initiatives.
  • Serve as the designated Title IX coordinator for reports of sexual harassment and sex discrimination.
  • Conduct intakes and provide information regarding rights, options, and supportive measures in consultation with the System Office Title IX Coordinator.
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for students, faculty, and staff navigating the Title IX process from start to finish, coordinating reports, supportive measures, investigations, hearings, and referrals as appropriate.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant issuance of required Title IX communications and notifications in accordance with applicable federal and state law and system protocols; support compliance through policy implementation, training, reporting, and collaboration with other campus and system office personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IX, Clery Act, and institutional policies; maintain confidentiality; and exercise sound professional judgment in handling sensitive information.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to student conduct, Title IX, and student support best practices.
  • Participate in college and system-wide meetings and initiatives as assigned.
  • Comply with all system, college, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; degree in higher education administration, social work, counseling, human services, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Three (3) years' experience in student affairs or a related field (e.g. higher education, administration, human services, or similar), including experience in student conduct, case management, conflict resolution or compliance-related processes. Experience with Banner, Navigate, and Maxient systems preferred.
