Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems using Java and Node.js. You will work on RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and database optimization while ensuring seamless integration with third-party services. The ideal candidate will have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. If you are passionate about backend development and enjoy solving complex problems, we would love to have you on board.

Primary Duties:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Java and Node.js.
• Responsible for RESTful API development, integrating with third-party services, and implementing authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Implement microservices architecture with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize and manage database performance with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
• Build and maintain server-side business logic and handle data processing workflows.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring smooth and automated releases.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to design and implement APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and integration.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ensure system reliability and performance.
• Monitor and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring system stability.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant backend development experience.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Java and Node.js, along with database management skills.
• Architecture: Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• API Development: Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
• Methodology: Knowledge of Agile methodology and software development lifecycle.
• Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
