Customer Service Representative (CSR- Full time)

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with genuine passion for healing and a gentle touch. The applicant should be team-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Benefits are outlined in the employee manual and are separate from the hourly wage.

Essential Functions:

• Greet clients and patients in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage hospital communication efficiently.
• Accurately enter and update client and patient information in the computer system.
• Provide clear communication regarding services, estimates, treatment plans, and discharge instructions as directed by medical staff.
• Process payments, maintain accurate financial records, and handle invoicing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist in ensuring timely service for appointments and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with veterinary staff to support patient care and client needs.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to fulfill the requirements of this position.
• Work collaboratively with all team members and ensure actions support the hospital, doctors, and practice philosophy.

• Maintains composure and efficiency in high-stress or emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and compassionate demeanor.
• Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and the ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.

Physical Effort:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• May require bending, reaching, and light lifting (assistance available for heavier tasks).
• Ability to use a computer, phone system, and other office equipment for prolonged periods.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in the veterinary field.
• Flexible schedule.
• Familiarity with IDEXX Neo preferred, though not required.
