Experienced Staff Accountant (Chinese Bilingual)

As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the business manager, undertaking a wide range of accounting responsibilities to ensure the smooth operations of our company.

Your key duties will include:

• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and general accounting tasks.
• Analyzing customer payments, issuing credits, and initiating contact with delinquent customers to facilitate timely invoice collection.
• Handling customer orders, invoicing, and maintaining up-to-date credit files.
• Calculating and verifying landed cost breakdowns for inventory receipts.
• Monitoring inventory status, placing stock orders, and coordinating ocean import paperwork and customs clearance.
• Verifying expense reports and assisting with quarterly physical inventory counts.
• Overseeing company expenses, negotiating vendor discounts, and maintaining productive relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Collaborating with the sales team on sales forecasts and ensuring revenue targets are met.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to slow-moving inventory and inactive accounts.
• Assisting with additional tasks as required to contribute to the overall success of the company.

Job Qualifications:

We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and demonstrates the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 years of accounting and purchasing experience, preferably in a wholesale import/distribution or food-related industry.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (reading and writing) to effectively communicate with local and overseas suppliers.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with major cloud accounting packages ( Oracle Netsuite) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
