Staff Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work on systems such as inference platform, ETL pipeline, data mining, and image search.
2. Collaborate with ML algorithm engineers and data analysts to improve perception and prediction performance while increasing iteration speed.
3. Partner with big data engineers and infra engineers to build a state-of-the-art ML engineering platform.
4. Analyze requirements, system design, implementation, testing, cloud deployment, monitoring, and user support.

Minimum Skill Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. 5-7+ years of high-performance distributed system design and implementation experience.
3. Proficient in at least one backend language (Python, Java, etc.) and possess strong engineering skills.
4. Strong learning and communication skills, results-driven and self-motivated.

Preferred Skill Requirements:

1. Big data experience: experience in container technology (Docker, Kubernetes); hands-on ML systems/ADAS related experience.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $179,400-$303,600, in addition to bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
