Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler for a long-term opportunity in Oxnard, CA. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined assembly professional with recent hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques to complete production tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for proper fit, function, and workmanship throughout the assembly process.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures in a structured manufacturing environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and support team production goals.
- Communicate issues, defects, or material concerns to leads or supervisors in a timely manner.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Fridays off, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Long-term 6+ month opportunity with potential for extension or permanent offer around the 4 to 6 month mark for strong performers.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform electro-mechanical assembly using mechanical skills, tools, and production documentation.
- Support quality-focused assembly work in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Follow assembly instructions, safety procedures, and production standards.
- Meet daily output expectations while maintaining accuracy and workmanship.

- 3 to 5 years of recent relevant assembler experience.
- Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and components.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and basic production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality.
- Good job stability and consistent work history are highly valued.
- Must demonstrate strong work ethic, dependability, and teamwork.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
- Must meet ITAR requirements, including being a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

- J-Standard Certification is strongly preferred.
- Previous aerospace assembly or aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in a structured, quality-driven manufacturing environment is preferred.
