Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Watsonville, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve their daily skills while experiencing a new location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
• Client requires ability to work flexible or variable shift schedules as needed.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience treating adult or geriatric populations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs preferred.
• Skilled in ADL retraining, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule: Variable; flexible shifts.
• Guaranteed 30 hours to start.
• Candidate should be available to start as soon as possible.
• Assignment may require floating to other nearby facilities as needed.
