Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and bilingual Counter Clerk to join our team in Madera. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with transactions, and support daily operations at the front counter. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to serve our diverse community effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in both English and Spanish
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately
- Answer customer inquiries in person, by phone, or email
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Process orders, returns, and other service requests
- Support administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
- Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, email, data entry)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
