What You'll Do

• Lead with expertise : Oversee complex tax returns from a diverse portfolio of clients, reviewing work by staff and senior accountants to ensure accuracy.
• Be a trusted advisor : Offer tax planning and advisory services, bringing valuable tax-saving strategies to high-net-worth clients and businesses.
• Grow client relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships, serving as a go-to expert for all tax-related questions.
• Stay ahead of the curve : Keep up with tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients are informed and compliant.
• Mentor the next generation : Support junior staff in their professional development, helping them reach new heights in their careers.
• Drive firm success : Collaborate on business development and identify new opportunities for growth alongside partners.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications : CPA certification, Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
• Experience : 7+ years in public accounting with a focus on tax and a deep understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in tax software (e.g., ProSystem Engagement) and tax research tools.
• Leadership : Proven experience in mentoring teams, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
• Analytical Mindset : Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
