As a **Security Professional - Museum Patrol Specialist** in **Whittier, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent cultural institution, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
+ Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and the public, providing assistance and information as appropriate.
+ Complete required logs and reports to document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
+ Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to the unique environment of cultural institution locations.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
