Title : Devops Engineer

This is a software engineering position for the DX (Developer Experience) Team. This position heavily utilizes Kubernetes technologies and focuses on working with newer technologies and solving problems related to CICD. You will participate in our cloud initiatives to utilize Kubernetes.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize secure methodologies to reduce secrets and credentials, using tools such as Vault, policies, and other methods.
• Create Infrastructure as Code Terraform scripts for all Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines that utilize GitHub Action Runners.

Skills & Competencies

Assist in building Kubernetes solutions for developers, such as CICD systems and other infrastructure projects.

Successful candidates will:

• Have experience with GitHub Actions and knowledge of self-hosted runners.
• Have experience running Kubernetes workloads on various clouds including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Have experience with custom integrations such as Slack, bots, Jira, or other tooling.
• Be familiar with GitOps and utilizing GitHub Action Runners for Kubernetes workloads.
• Have experience with security tools like Hashicorp Vault and understanding of security policies across cloud providers.
• Have developer experience with Golang, Python, or similar languages.
• Be experienced with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Have experience developing software for Linux systems.
• Be able to communicate effectively across different time zones and with cross-functional teams including DevOps, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Possess basic project management skills to manage tasks, timelines, and priorities.
• Be capable of analyzing data and metrics to make data-driven decisions to optimize cloud resources and performance.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring high-quality execution and accountability.
• Drive innovation by proposing and implementing creative solutions, staying updated with industry trends.
• Prioritize customer needs, aiming to exceed expectations and collaborating with teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Embrace teamwork and inclusivity, working seamlessly with colleagues to achieve common goals.
