Location:San Leandro, CA
Job Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support daily warehouse and transportation operations. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, managing schedules, tracking shipments, and ensuring efficient communication between departments. Ideal candidates are proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch drivers for pickups, deliveries, and route assignments
- Monitor shipment status and update internal systems as needed
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely operations
- Maintain accurate logs, schedules, and documentation
- Assist with resolving delays, route issues, or service concerns
- Support warehouse operations when needed
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous dispatching or logistics experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work the 3:30 PM–11:00 PM shift with possible overtime
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, scheduling systems)
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
