JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Support Representative, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Center Operations/IT, is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to visitors, team members, and clients. This role requires a strong physical presence at the administrative entrance lobby, where the representative will manage incoming calls, coordinate mail handling, and provide assistance during the organization’s annual conference, as well as other courses and events throughout the year. Additionally, the Customer Support Representative will support team members with internal software systems and applications. The representative must consistently maintain a professional, positive, and courteous demeanor in all interactions, ensuring the highest standards of customer service for Viticus Group.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as SQL Server MCSA or equivalent are preferred.
- Additional certifications related to networking or database administration may be beneficial.
Experience
- 2-3 years of in-depth experience in database management, including troubleshooting communication data flow (serial and TCP/IP).
- Experience with SQL Server and Crystal Report writing.
- Knowledge of NetSuite report writing.
- Proficiency with network and firewall concepts, including TCP/IP, WiFi, and network segmentation.
- Experience with server installation/configurations, navigating client Windows/AD environments, including remote connections, security, services, troubleshooting, and server swaps.
- Proven experience in web hosting applications like Apache and IIS.
- Experience working in environments requiring collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.

- Proficiency with MS SQL Query and Crystal Reports.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic capabilities.
- Ability to identify, replicate, and troubleshoot product issues.

- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including clear, informative writing and confident presentations.
- Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure respectful, professional interactions with all stakeholders (employees, board members, vendors, clients, etc.).
