Product Manager, Financial Engineering

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to scale the product efforts and overall technical strategy for our Financial Engineering team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the finance and accounting space, ideally building solutions for commercial users of varying sizes from small scale to enterprise. This role requires close collaboration with our product, finance, operations and engineering teams.
This position is based in San Francisco, CA. We utilize a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Develop a strategy and roadmap to efficiently scale the revenue operations behind OpenAI’s growing product portfolio.
Identify and execute opportunities to improve the product provisioning and invoicing experience for OpenAI’s largest and most strategic customers.
Build internal tooling, including through use of OpenAI latest technology, for key partner teams such as Finance and User Operations.
Collaborate with other product teams to drive pricing and packaging design and enablement.
Use data to better understand user needs and guide future product development.
Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including teams in product, finance, operations and engineering.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 6+ years of product management or related industry experience.
Obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
Have proven experience working in a technical environment with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide the team through key milestones.
Have world-class communication and collaboration skills in working with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
Showcase strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills, along with proven communication abilities.
