Construction Laborer
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Laborer to assist our lead contractor on active building projects. This role is hands-on and requires a strong understanding of construction processes, tools, and safety practices. This is a Monday-Friday position, 10AM - 6PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist the main contractor with daily construction tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Operate and maintain power tools and construction equipment
- Prepare job sites, load/unload materials, and keep work areas clean
- Follow instructions accurately and work efficiently as part of a team
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
- MUST have prior construction experience (this is not an entry-level position)
- Ability to read and understand schematics and building plans
- Proficiency with power tools and general construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction
Preferred:
- Experience working alongside a licensed contractor
- Familiarity with multiple phases of construction
