Retail Sales Associate and Cashier

We are a retail Funko Pop store located in Del Amo Fashion Center, Torrance. We seek a dynamic and driven Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and generating sales through product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our products, have a positive attitude and extroverted personality, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate needs to be familiar with Anime, Pop Culture ( Disney, Marvel, etc)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Build relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services
- Use sales techniques to close sales and meet sales targets
- Participate in store merchandising and product placement
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and work area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Shift:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Torrance, CA 90503: Relocate before starting work (Required)
