Maria Isabel opened on March 3rd , so we are still new and continuing to build the team as we grow.

In the short time since opening, we have been grateful to be Michelin Recommended , recognized with Michelin’s Exceptional Cocktail Program Award , and called “S.F.’s most ambitious Mexican restaurant in years unlike anything else in the Bay Area” by the San Francisco Chronicle .

We are proud of the recognition, but we are still very much in the early stages. We are looking for people who want to grow with us, help shape the culture, and take pride in building something special from the beginning.

We are looking for experienced front of house team members who are warm, professional, and genuinely care about hospitality. Our restaurant is rooted in Mexican tradition, Northern California ingredients, thoughtful beverage, and taking great care of our guests.

The restaurant is busy, and the earning potential is strong. Tipped FOH team members are currently averaging $300+ a night in tips , depending on role and schedule.

Ideal candidates are:

Experienced in full-service or fine dining restaurants
Warm and confident with guests
Excited about food, wine, cocktails, and Mexican culture
Able to move with urgency while still paying attention to the details
Team oriented and open to learning as we grow
Professional, reliable, and respectful of the team around them
