ALIBI ROOM is a long time Venice, Mar Vista, Culver City westside locals neighborhood watering hole and everyone's favorite outstanding KOGI Chef Roy Choi!! Must be 21 older.

Currently looking for a DOOR PERSON/HOST to fill Thursday & Saturday nights 5pm - 10/11:30pm and pickup/fill in shifts. Must be available for ALL holidays (holidays are blackout dates - must be available to work). We are closed on Sundays & Mondays. Having another job can not interfere with scheduling needs at any time, no exceptions.

- Minimum of 1-year customer service oriented experience as a DOOR PERSON & OR HOST in the food and beverage industry.
- Have a high sense of responsibility and passion to provide genuine hospitality. Ability to handle all types of personalities making every walk of life feel welcome.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great enthusiasm and managing job responsibilities.
- Comfortable with managing the flow of the evenings, guest information while maintaining and enforcing company safety policies.
- High volume experience is a plus.
- TEAM PLAYER with strong work ethics, take initiative and a "can do" positive attitude while working within the company operations guidelines. Great personality w/ a record of working well within a team environment.

- The ability to multi-task: normal hosting duties, greet and seat guests, check ID's, and ensure guests enjoy there evening with us.
- Change out heat lamp propane tanks and maintain heat lamp propane tank inventory
- Check ID's
- Set up and break down the outdoor patio
- Able to lift up to 25lbs
- Bus, clean and sanitize tables
- Maintain heatlamps (lighting for guests as needed)
- Cross-train as a food runner if needed for backup
- Running food and running drinks when needed
- Able to stand for long periods (5:15pm - 11pm/12am - hours vary per day)
- Assisting with taking guests togo orders during busy times if needed
- Keeping order to the patio, heat lamps and tables stay in place and being comfortable having that communication with guests
- Guest last call, clearing, cleaning, and closing patio
