Senior Product Manager, Next Generation B2B Payments Platform

VISA
San Francisco, CA
Job Description

Visa Commercial Solutions is building the next generation of B2B payments, modernizing how businesses pay and get paid at scale. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Next Generation B2B Payments Platform to help define, build, and scale a highly strategic platform that enables new B2B spend flows, supports Flexible Interchange, and displaces legacy payment methods such as check, ACH, wire, and EFT.

This role sits at the intersection of platform strategy, product execution, and technology delivery, with responsibility for translating strategic priorities into scalable product capabilities delivered across Visa’s commercial ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Own and evolve key components of Visa’s Next Generation B2B Payments Platform, including capabilities that enable flexible payment execution, pricing, and scale.
  • Drive product development related to Flexible Interchange, partnering across product, technology, and commercial teams to enable differentiated pricing and value delivery in B2B payments.
  • Translate platform strategy into clear product roadmaps, feature definitions, and delivery milestones, balancing near‑term execution with long‑term platform evolution.
  • Partner closely with engineering, architecture, operations, risk, and compliance teams to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable B2B payment solutions.
  • Define product requirements, success metrics, and operating models that modernize B2B payment flows while improving client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure product development aligns with market needs and client outcomes.
  • Support go‑to‑market readiness through product narratives, value propositions, and commercialization planning in partnership with sales and client teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned platform capabilities, representing product direction internally and with select clients and partners.

Product Development & Delivery Environment

  • Operate within a structured product development environment using Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, based on platform and release requirements.
  • Use standard product and delivery tools such as Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and execution tracking, and Confluence or similar tools for documentation and requirements alignment.
  • Participate in core delivery rituals including roadmap planning, sprint reviews, dependency management, and release readiness.
  • Translate business and product requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support efficient engineering execution.
  • Ensure alignment with Visa’s broader software development lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture reviews, security, risk, and compliance checkpoints.

Why This Role Matters

This role directly supports Visa’s strategy to scale B2B direct spend through a platform‑first approach, combining Next Generation payment capabilities with Flexible Interchange to unlock new value for clients. The work will shape how modern B2B payment solutions are built, priced, and delivered at global scale.
