Human Resource Clerk
Now Hiring: Human Resource Clerk Location: Corona,California | 8am5pm Full-Time Department: People Operations Classification: Non-Exempt | Reports To: Director, People Operations ________________________________________________________________________________ Our Mission At Inland Respite, we are dedicated to supporting families and individuals with developmental disabilities by providing compassionate respite care that fosters independence, dignity, and an improved quality of life. ________________________________________________________________________________ Position Summary: The Human Resource Clerk provides clerical, auditing, and compliance support within the People Operations team. This role focuses on processing and maintaining HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in employee files, assisting with employment documentation, and supporting compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. The HR Clerk plays a key part in maintaining smooth HR operations through organization, filing, auditing, and record management. ________________________________________________________________________________ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collect, review, and process employment documentation including I-9 forms. Support HR file management, ensuring files are accurate, organized, and compliant with regulations. Perform regular audits of personnel files to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Maintain and update employee personnel records, both electronic and paper. Perform record management and filing tasks for confidential HR documentation. Assist with HR audits and compliance check as directed. Respond to requests for employee records in accordance with company policies. Support HR staff with clerical tasks including scanning, copying, and data entry. Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and HR standards at all times. Provide additional administrative support to the People Operations team as needed. ________________________________________________________________________________ Education, Experience and Skills Required: Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Consistent attendance, attention to detail, and self-motivation are required. High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in HR, Business, or related field preferred). 1+ year of clerical or administrative experience (HR experience preferred). Knowledge of I-9 requirements and HR compliance standards a plus. Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and HR policies. Effective communication and teamwork skills. ________________________________________________________________________________ Compensation & Benefits: Hourly rate: $21.00 $23.00, depending on experience.
