Accounts Payable Clerk Temp-Panavision Woodland Hills

The Panavision group supports filmmakers working on movies, television series, commercials, and beyond, providing: filmmaking equipment rentals for lenses, cinema cameras, grip, and lighting, stage facilities for filming, post-production services including dailies, visual effects, and final color grading and much more.
Job Scope:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for all invoice data entry for their assigned facilities, as well as review and follow up of vendor statements. The Accounts Payable Clerk’s duties also include organization and filing of all paid vendor invoices, and the creation of new files as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to processing of manual payment entries. Matching and distribution of vendor checks as needed. As well as assigned tasks from either the Accounts Payable Lead or Accounts Payable Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry of accounts payables invoices
- 3-Way PO matching (manufacturing or similar)
- Check distribution
- Heavy Customer Service Experience
- Organization and filing of vendor payments
- Managing payment requests for vendors and employees
- Assist the accounts payable lead and manager as requested
Skills/Experience Required:
- Basis accounting principles knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Great Plains accounts payable software
- Knowledge of the accounts payable cycle
- Intermediate+ Excel Skills
- Self-Starter
- Attention to Details
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The Accounts Payable Clerk needs to have a clear understanding of accounts payables and be able to manage payment requests both internally from employees and externally requests from vendors. This person needs to be a good listener and should good communication skills both verbally and written. This person needs to understand the importance of deadlines. The physical demands are minimal in this position, other the regular requirements of working at a desk with a computer. There are occasions where a “bankers boxes” may need to be moved as well as accounts payable files, but these are generally less than 10 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Prompt and regular attendance is required, employees are expected to begin work at the start of their scheduled shift and to complete their assigned work shift according to the responsibilities of their position.
This position is a part time role that works standard business hours, 24 - 28 hours per week. This position may require long hours and some weekend work.

Compensation:
$26.00 to $28.00 per hour
