What you will be doing: <\/h2>

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. <\/li>
  
  
• Investigate problem areas and follow the software development lifecycle. <\/li>
  
  
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and solution development. <\/li>
  
  
• Lead the preparation and installation of solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. <\/li>
  
  
• Review upcoming project deadlines and plan work activities around those dates and other obligations throughout an average shift. <\/li>
  
  
• Test and troubleshoot defects in coding and collaborate with fellow software engineering employees on complex tasks. <\/li>
  
  
• Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including developing flowcharts, layouts, and documentation. <\/li>
  
  
• Write well\-designed, testable code and produce specifications to determine operational feasibility. <\/li>
  
  
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system and develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures. <\/li>
  
  
• Document and maintain software functionality, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. <\/li>
  
  
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback while complying with project plans and industry standards. <\/li>
  
  
• Ensure software is updated with the latest features and improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes. <\/li>
  
  
• Update job knowledge by studying state\-of\-the\-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. <\/li>
  
  
• Accomplish engineering and organization missions by completing related results as needed. <\/li>
  
  
• Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities. <\/li>

  Experience you will need: <\/h2>
  
  

  
  
  • Experience in API layer design and implementation. <\/li>
    
    
  • Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer. <\/li>
    
    
  • Experience designing interactive applications. <\/li>
    
    
  • Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages. <\/li>
    
    
  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). <\/li>
    
    
  • Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC). <\/li>
    
    
  • Experience with test\-driven development. <\/li>
    
    
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools. <\/li>
    
    
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications. <\/li>
    
    
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential. <\/li>
