About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team at a construction supplies company in Lawndale, CA. In this role, you will ensure every customer feels welcomed and valued while supporting store operations, ordering parts for mechanics, and occasionally driving to pick up parts.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their visit.
- Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions.
- Order parts for mechanics and drive to pick up parts as needed.
- Conduct basic product demonstrations and assist customers with product information.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout and front-end area.
- Provide excellent phone support and assist customers with questions or concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment focused on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
- Experience in retail sales or cashiering roles preferred.
- Experience in the construction hardware industry.
- MUST be bilingual in Spanish/English
