Cryogenics Product Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager in the field of cryogenics to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the product lifecycles for our cryogenics platforms from conception to commercialization, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and driving development of new platforms and measurement options in the field of material science.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the product lifecycles from concept through development, launch, and post launch performance.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product success and improvement. Coordinate with technical teams to achieve profitability targets, address customer feedback, and implement product enhancements.
Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:
- Develop and execute the product strategy for cryogenics products in alignment with the company vision and market trends.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in cryogenics and material science.
- Lead product roadmap planning based on market research to balance customer needs, manage technical risk, and meet business objectives.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive product development and delivery.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all product-related decisions, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Lead product launches and ensure that product deliverables are met on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
Technical Expertise
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and interests in cryogenics, material science, quantum computation, and quantum communication/information. Integrate this knowledge into product decisions.
- Provide technical direction and support to product teams, ensuring understanding of relevant principles and applications.
- Review product specifications, technical designs, and test plans to ensure high product performance.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather product feedback and define requirements.
- Present and communicate product plans, updates, and value propositions to executive leadership and customers.
- Build relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance product offerings.
- Work with our global service teams to gather insights and improve system reliability.
- Represent the company at science conferences and research symposia.

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field. An MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of product management experience with a strong background in scientific instrumentation, cryogenics, or low noise measurement systems.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical products and meeting profitability targets.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of cryogenics, superconductivity, or other low-temperature physics applications.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Project lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Salesforce
Salary Description
$120 - $160/Year
